Becali says that Georgescu’s « withdrawal » is wrongly translated

George Becali says that Călin Georgescu’s message was not a withdrawal and that, although without a function, he has power, even a great one.

General Prosecutor’s Office decided Tuesday Expanding criminal prosecution on behalf of Călin GeorgescU, being accused of reproducing a quote from former legionary leader Corneliu Zelea Codreanu.

According to art. 5 of GEO 31/2002, the deed of the person to promote, in public, the cult of persons guilty of committing genocide offenses against humanity and war crimes, as well as the act of promoting, in public, ideas, conceptions or fascist, legionary, racist or xenophobic doctrines are punished with 3 months to 3 years.
