Battle for Cotroceni, course poll

George Simion is in the first place in the last course poll. The close fight seems to be given for the second place, which will be between Crin Antonescu and Nicușor Dan.

George Simion, a candidate from gold, will win the first round of the presidential elections, with 29%of the votes, Crin Antonescu, PSD-PNL-UDMR candidate, is preferred by 22%, and the independent Nicușor Dan-18%.

On the 4th place is Victor Ponta, an independent candidate, with 13%, followed by USR Elena Lasconi leader by 12%.

The rest of the candidates have scores below 3% and together gather 6% of the electorate options.

The course survey was conducted between March 19 and 22, 2025 on a sample of 1203 respondents, aged 18 and over. Maximum error margin at the level of the entire sample: +/- 2.8% at a 95% confidence level.
