Baron Guy Ullens died. That reports La Libre. His son Nicolas Ullens shot his second wife Myriam Lechien in broad daylight in 2023.
Baron Ullens, a well-known figure in the Belgian nobility, died at the age of 90. The French -speaking newspaper reports this La Libre. The Baron was born in San Francisco in 1935 and made a name for himself in the business world through his family Fortuin.
Baron Guy Ullens de Schooten Whettnall married Micheline Franckx in 1955, whom he had four children: Philippe (1956), Brigitte (1959), Yves (1960) and Nicolas (1965). In 1999 he separated from Micheline and married Myriam ‘Mimi’ Lechien in the same year.
That second marriage caused a lot of tension in the family. The children of the baron found that the new woman broke the fortune of their father. After a lawsuit, the youngest son Nicolas decided to take matters into his own hands in the spring of 2023. On March 29, Nicolas, a former member of the State Security, executed his stepmother in broad daylight for his parental villa in Lasne, say the Walloon Sint-Martens-Latem. He fired five bullets at her for a short distance. The baron itself was also injured by a cut bullet in his leg.
Nicolas first fled, but already contacted the local police an hour later.
