Balloons and lights – a celebration or damage to nature?

– Do you suggest giving up helium balloons, sky lights at all?

– We offer alternatives. We would most suggest long -term decorations, or if you have chosen balloons – be sure to collect waste, not to enter the air. If, however, you started – be sure to find, assemble and throw it in the appropriate container.

– Sometimes the balloons are written « biodegradable ». What does that mean?

– In this case, you should be critical, as chemicals are often used even for biodegradable balloons. Such toxic substances can enter the soil just as a microplasty, which is especially in balloons. In this case, you are equally polluting nature, and that biological transparency can be much longer due to the breakdown of those chemicals.

– Is people awareness increasing?

– We do not collect specific information, but we find that residents are turning to social networks and actively report environmental violations. Awareness is greater, people also choose sustainable alternatives.

– Exclude sustainable alternatives – what can change the balloon, the sky lantern?

– These can be a variety of long -term decorations. Most importantly, the material itself is long -term. If it is a balloon, you can hang garlands, decorations that would be made of sustainable or recycled paper. This way you can decorate the environment.

– Do balloons still remain a popular festive attribute?

– Really yes, I would say, the interest in balloons is growing. If it used to be a childish attribute, now even businesses and well -known brands do not shy away from balloons, large installations to decorate their spaces.

– The summer holiday season is approaching, and environmentalists remind you to avoid balloons to let the sky, criticize that it is bad for the environment. What would you answer to that?

– We fully agree with the environmentalists on this issue and do not recommend the balloons to the sky. True, it must be acknowledged that there are still institutions, kindergartens trying to do so. In general, we see that such practice becomes obsolete. Trends are delighted because society is aware of and alternatives are attractive to nature friendly. We always encourage helium balloons to be fastened with pounds precisely because they do not fall out and delight as long as possible. Folio balloons can be preserved and inflated for the next occasion after the celebration. If you want a stronger effect, there are garlands and large installations that adorn and harm the environment.
