AvtoVAZ is trying to lobby for a new mechanism for supporting demand for cars with a decrease in sales: the manufacturer discusses with the Ministry of Industry and Trade direct subsidizing discounts on new cars. AvtoVAZ discusses with the Ministry of Industry and Trade the possibility of direct subsidizing discounts on cars, said the vice president of the company Sergey Gromak. “It is not clear how the subsidies will be tied directly to a decrease in the cost of the car for a particular buyer,” he indicates. The proposal of AvtoVAZ does not specify which of the car concerns can apply for state support.
