Aulona Bylykbashi, the most voted candidate from the Diaspora in the May 11th elections: 13,602 heart thanks

Aulona Bylykbashi has emerged as the most voted SP candidate from the Albanian Diaspora in the May 11 elections, where he competed in the open list in Elbasan district. It received 13,602 votes from compatriots who voted from abroad, turning into a symbol of the representation of the diaspora within Albanian politics. After announcing the result, Bylykbashi shared a special message of thanks to all those who, while living outside Albania, have never cut off their connection with their country.

« The result of the May 11th elections is a historic moment for me personally, but more than that, is a testimony of the power our union has, despite the distances. Who he is talking about, who he works for and whom he represents. «  Describing the diaspora as « an irreplaceable force of our European future », Bylykbashi promises to be a strong voice for compatriots in state institutions and decision -making processes.

« I feel this responsibility with all my being. I will be your voice in every step of my work. You are not distant, you are here, in mind and in the heart, » she points out in her message. Aulona Bylykbashi is one of the new figures of the open list in Elbasan district, is expected to have an active role in the next Assembly, with a special focus on incorporating the Diaspora in the country’s political, social and economic developments.
