Auli starts the second season of ancestral votes in collaboration with the singer from Ghana / Day
The project aims to create a musical bridge between the world’s traditional singing cultures and Latvian folk music.
The album will be listened to on Spotify and other music streaming platforms.
Aban (in real name Eldah naa abanga dickson) is recognized by Ghana’s singer and songwriter who has won several prestigious awards including Record of the Year and Best Female Vocal Performance Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
There are three traditional shepherd songs in the mini -album in different dialects SENWA DE DENDE (TWI), Mele Ni Yaa (GA) and AGBA EEEEEE (EWE) – Aulis Arranged.

« After the success of the first season, the culmination of which was a successful concert tour in Latvia, a documentary on Latvian Television and a wide resonance on social networks, we were ready to continue this trip. That’s why we are very happy to focus again on international musical cooperation, » Aulis Duder Kaspars Barbal.

In the second season of the project, it is planned to create a 12 song program in cooperation with three foreign singers and one singer from Latvia. Thus, offering an insight into the traditions of singing nations of the world for Latvia and the world.
“It is extremely interesting to watch as songs from such different cultures intertwined with Latvian folk songs and Aulis Music. It creates unprecedented emotions, ”admits composer Martins Milevsky.
The first season was published in 2019 with the participation of singers from Mongolia, Austria, Sami Land and Latvia. Most Youtube the number of views reached Aulis and Batzorig Vaanchig’s collaborated music video Hunn Guren.
