Augsburg-inner city: escalation in nightlife: men attack bar employees

A 24-year-old party-owner triggered a police operation on Sunday. According to the police, the emergency services were called to a bar in Maximilianstrasse at around 5 a.m. « First of all, the officials received the information that a knife is used in a discussion, » the police said. For this reason, officials were on site and met a 24-year-old involved, « who was extremely uncooperative, » said the police. Because of his behavior, the man was finally captivated on the ground. However, a knife had apparently not been involved in the previous discussion. The 24-year-old and his 26-year-old companion were expelled from the bar due to their behavior. « Then both apparently attacked an employee of the bar, which is why the police were alerted, » it continues. According to police, both men were considerably drunk and received a dismissal from the officials. The bar employee was apparently unharmed, the 24-year-old guest was slightly injured.
