At Ungheni the young people have learned more about the opportunities for employment and career – the angle – see the world as it is!

Last week, in Ungheni, the International Career Fair was held – an event expected by young people, students and future graduates, who wanted to know more about the employment opportunities and the educational institutions that can ensure a solid professional path.

The event brought together dozens of employers from various fields. At the stands, the participants were able to discuss directly with the representatives of the companies, received information about the available jobs, the job requirements and the possibilities of internships or internships.
Also, several institutions of technical and higher professional education, from the country and abroad, have presented their educational offer. Career counselors and the representatives of the universities spoke to young people about specializations, scholarships, international mobility and prospects on the labor market.
« I hope that each of you, the young people from the schools and high schools in the district will be found in those offers that the employers and representatives of the universities from us and Romania propose to build your future and together, » said Vitalie Vrabie, the mayor of Ungheni, and Dionisie Ternovschi,  » He sees that they have options and that the future can be built here, at home, step by step, with involvement and education ”.
About the importance of guiding young people in the career was mentioned Violeta Gavriliuc, the interim chief of the Education Directorate Ungheni. « The future of each of us is built with small, but safe steps, the future of our country depends on you, because the country needs professionals, people dedicated to work, so that they can succeed, persevere and be able to fit into this beautiful European space. » Oxana Cănița, head of the Directorate of Employment Ungheni urged the young people to become familiar about the vacant professions in the territory, but also the possibilities to study in recalification courses. « I hope that young people are here today to find their best profession, to make the best choice to stay at home and to achieve increased work in our country. »
It should be mentioned that young people came to the fair not only from our district, but also from other localities. Each of them were consulted vis-à-vis one profession or another and about some jobs in our region. « We are from Falești and we came here, because we saw the announcement about the event on social networks, the fact that aroused our interest. Here we see a variety of offers, both to study and find a job in the future », Veaceslav, LT « Aleksandr Pushkin », Falesti.

« I am interested in two universities in Romania. I like history and political science. Romania is a new country for me, there study my sister, there I want to study because I have the opportunity to travel », Victoria, a student at the Gymnasium in Morenii Vechi.
Some young people have expressed interest in the profession of doctor, border policeman, fireman and savior. « We are here to promote the profession of firefighter and savior. It is a profession that requires courage, determination and a good physical condition. To embrace such a profession, we urge young people to do so, because we need specialists in this field. Young people who are found in these fields have the opportunity to study both in the Republic of Moldova, » Ungheni.

The International Career Fair is in the second edition and was organized by the Municipal Center for Young Ungheni and the City Hall of Ungheni in partnership with the Ungheni Education Directorate, the Directorate for Employment Ungheni and the Ungheni Youth Fund.
The event brought together over 30 participating institutions from the Republic and Romania with various offers and about one thousand young people from Ungheni from Ungheni and Falesti.
According to the data provided by the Statistical Directorate Ungheni in the district there are 18251 young people (15-34 years). Of which 15-19 years-4611, 20-24 years-3761, 25-29 years-4526 and 30-34 years-5353.
