At the International Short Film Festival, 2Annas will feature five focus programs / day
Progress loop: 04.04. (Friday), at. 18:00, Kronvalda Boulevard 4. « Does technology easier human life or does a person serve technology? » Ask Agnese Logina, the program curator. In this program, eight specially selected short films will encourage discussion on how technological progress changes our lives and ask important questions about the role of man in the world of modern technology.
Kinky Cinema (18+): 05.04. (Saturday) 21.00, Cannabis Cultural Center. The program invites viewers to take a risky and provocative journey, where you enjoy enjoying, challenge and humor. Viewers will be able to experience the diversity of sexuality through bold and openly erotic short films. The program was created in collaboration with the Vienna Short Film Festival and promises a unique cinema experience for brave viewers. The event is intended for adult audiences – entrance from the age of 18.
Falling in love with the director: 08.04. (Tuesday), at. 8.30 pm, Xun. Curator Astra Zoldnere on the focus program In love with the director Says: « In this program, we will see the director bravely demolish the boundaries between themselves and the film, revealing their deepest emotions and creative doubts. » In this program, viewers will be able to experience intimate, emotional and artistically challenging stories exploring the symbiosis of the directors and their heroes.
Parasites! Parasites?: 09.04 (Wednesday), at. 18.00, Xun. This program explores the phenomenon of parasitism in both biological and social and political aspects. « What is a real parasite – one who uses others or one who is forced to adapt to the circumstances imposed on others? » asks curator Dace Chaur, calling for reflection on the norms and boundaries of society.
Love letters from Ukraine: 10.04. (Thursday) 18.00, Cannabis Cultural Center. « Love in the war becomes even more fragile and deeper, » admits Olga Gusatinska and Sasha Prokopenko, curators for this program. In collaboration with the Kijiva International Short Film Festival, viewers will be able to experience six emotional stories of love in war, which strongly reminds us of the power and vulnerability of human relationships during the crisis.
