The show is staged by a bright, charismatic and well -known Dutch director Ola Mafalani. The novel has fascinated readers with a philosophical scale of criminal detective and the scale of eternal themes. It is centered on Janina, a persistent woman with a complex character whose passion is nature exploration and astrology. She is a contemporary romantic with zealous gambling. In a remote village of Poland, where the entry from elsewhere, teacher Janina feels like an outsidere, suddenly local hunters die one by one and in the strangest ways. All the evidence leads to an amazing conclusion, and intrigue twists…

The actress Chulpana Hamatova, who has already been acquainted in Latvia, will play a key role. As the director acknowledged in the selection of actors, Chulpana is perfect for this role as a talented actress and is storytelling – she represents a newcomer to a small town. The role is played by a powerful actor ensemble – Artūrs Skrastiņš, Juris Bartkevičs, Mārtiņš Meiers, Arturs Krūzkops, Lauris Subatnieks or Meinards Liepiņš, Imants Strads, Andris Bulis, Ģirts Ķesteris, Girts Kester, Kaspars Dumburs, Katrīna Griga, Indra Briķe,

Another special debutant is participating in this production – for the first time, the stage designer of the theater is made up of internationally recognized Latvian designer Germans Ermičs. The most recognizable job of the German Ermich has become a glass chair Ombréwhose influential designers Stephen Zagmeister and Jessica Volsh are among the world’s most beautiful objects. German Ermich has also created significant interior and architectural works in Seoul, London, Amsterdam, Cannes and elsewhere.

The costumes for this ambitious new production have been designed by the well-known artist duo Mareunrol’s (Mārīte Mastiņa-Peterskop and Rolands Peterkops). Music was created by the internationally recognized composer Christ Auznieks, who creates the musical world of the production in collaboration with the State Academic Choir Latvia And the artistic director of the choir, Maris Sirmo.

The artist of the show is Alex Brock (Alex Brok). He has worked in leading opera houses and theaters in both Europe and the US. Currently, Alex is working on the light of the Light Power Daile Theater, as well as working on productions in Strasbourg and Vienna’s operas.
