At the Children’s Hospital a new center with high loyalty simulators to form doctors and nurses
The goal is to improve the preparation of doctors and nurses in neonatal, pediatric and obstetric assistance and refine the work in a team
A new pediatric simulation center has been inaugurated at the Buzzi Children’s Hospital in Milan which aims to improve the preparation of doctors and nurses in neonatal, pediatric and obstetric assistance, helping to save lives in emergency situations.
The center
He will use high fidelity simulators to recreate realistic clinical scenarios, allowing doctors and nurses to acquire practical skills, make real -time decisions and refine teamwork. The simulated emergencies include critical situations that require rapid and effective interventions such as, for example, the inhalation of foreign bodies, serious burns, cardiorespiratory arrest and surgical and obstetric emergencies.
The importance of this project is twofold: in addition to guaranteeing an excellence training to the Buzzi hospital staff, the simulation center will allow to share medical skills with other hospitals, strengthening the national pediatric assistance network.

The construction of the simulation center was possible thanks to the generous contribution of the Next Foundation Miowhich has entirely financed the purchase of simulators and the creation of dedicated spaces.
