At an international conference at the Academy of Music will introduce post -colonial art after the collapse of the Soviet Union / Day

At the International Conference, whose name is Postcolonial situation in the arts after the collapse of the soviet union: Experience, Impact, Reassesment (Postcolonial Status in Art after the collapse of the Soviet Union: Experience, Effect, Revaluation), The problem of decolonization of the Soviet heritage, all kinds of art and its related knowledge will be affected, illuminating the current situation and challenges to face today, studying and preaching the processes of Soviet -era art and culture and their impact on contemporary culture and society in Europe. This topic is relevant not only to the Eastern European region and to the countries experienced by the Soviet occupation, but also in more broad, especially in the academic environment, where different traditions, approaches and methods are collapsed.

The working language of the conference is English (without translation). The conference is open to visitors.
