The SPCC recalls that the state -funded vaccination against influenza is currently available to every citizen. Medical facilities can use the vaccines in their stocks to vaccinate patients outside the risk groups.

Vaccination against influenza is still recommended as the flu prevention may continue until the end of May, but immunity after receiving the vaccine develops within ten days.

Vaccination is particularly recommended for seniors and people with chronic illnesses. It is also advisable to vaccinate for those who are planning medical manipulation and inpatient stay.
