As many as 48 mobile homes in the campsite on Murter must be away
The Croatian construction inspection declared dozens of mobile homes in one of the campsites on the island of Murter and decided to remove them. The case is estimated to be a dangerous precedent because the decision asks the legal explanation of the concept of a mobile home, writes Croatian newspaper Jutarnji List.
During the supervision of May, the construction inspection found that mobile homes at the Jazina campsite in Tisno na Murter had no building permit. In a decision signed by a senior construction inspector, the Prasliga municipal company, which manages the campsite, ordered the « construction facilities in an illegally reconstructed Jazin camp » within 90 days.

According to Jutarnji List, the construction inspection decision, which relates to 48 mobile homes, surprised not only involved in the case, but also interlocutors from the ranks of camps, investors, contractors and lawyers.
They considered the newspaper that it was an extremely harmful and wrong decision of an inspector who could represent a dangerous precedent and have dramatic consequences for the business of the entire camping sector in Croatia.
According to them, the decision questioned the legal explanation of the concept of a mobile home and the practice so far in hundreds of Croatian camps, which would be in the misdemeanor in such an interpretation of the inspector.
The Catering Act explains the notion of camping so that it also includes a mobile home. The Rules on the classification and categorization of catering facilities from the campsite group defines the mobile home as movable camping equipment, which is made of solid material, is not firmly attached to the floor and has a bathroom. It can be moved from one location to another and has not been created by construction.
