Artur R. sentenced to life imprisonment and 20 years. Crimes that shook Poland
The man was arrested because he was suspected of making a few rapes. Artur R. working as a caretaker arranged on dating sites with women, who later, using violence, sexually abused.
First, life imprisonment for Artur R., now 20 years in prison
The caretaker was arrested and went to prison in Załęże in Rzeszów. There was another tragedy. On February 22, 2022, the man had a routine psychological consultation. Prison psychologist Bogumił B.-P. met with him († 39). Already at the beginning of the conversation, Artur R. attacked. He used his fists and scissors, brutally killing officer. The woman has been in prison for 12 years. She left her husband and orphaned two teenage sons.
The man was accused of murdering with particular cruelty, as a result of motives deserving special condemnation. At the end of last year, he was sentenced to life imprisonment. At the same time, the court stipulated that he would be able to apply for early release from serving the penalty only after the expiry 35 years, i.e. after reaching 74.
That’s not all. Now the killer has heard another final judgment. He was just sentenced to 20 years in prison for rapes he had earlier.
