Arrives, the rights of the opposition leader

Starting with the Council of State, André Ventura’s party will increase its representation in the council body of the President of the Republic. Being the third party, Ventura was already sitting at the council meetings, but from now on she could indicate another name. The PS, which has so far been represented by Carlos César and Pedro Nuno Santos, reduces its representation to only one element.
The arrival will also preference in the next choice of three judges for the Constitutional Court. Of the 10 judges appointed by Parliament, there is one that has already finished the mandate, but has not yet been replaced and two others ending in a few days. So far, the consensus on the choice of names for the Raton Palace has always been made between PS and PSD, from now on, the arrival replaces the Socialist Party.
In all there are 21 organisms that are in whole or in part composed of names indicated by Parliament. With some exceptions, in which they count the years of office, most of these organisms are composed of names that change legislature to legislature. The entities in question are varied and have different degrees of importance, but some of them supervise essential sectors for the political agenda of arrival. The conquest of opposition leadership, too, radically changes the party’s ability to influence.

The Superior Judiciary Council where André Ventura will choose three of the seven places available.
The Superior Council of Information where it will have a deputy of the arrival and another from the PSD.
The Superior Council of Internal Security, which will also have a deputy.
The Superior Council of the Public Prosecution Service, a body that is composed of five members appointed by the Assembly of the Republic, where the arrival was already entitled to a place, but now, is entitled to indicate two names, such as the PSD.
In addition, in subjects of sovereignty, the government must follow the usual consultation with the opposition leader.
