« Arrives became the second largest party »

The arrival leader was pleased with Sunday’s electoral results and missed the opportunity to criticize polls.

« What a great night! Let me start by saying this: the polls have failed! »

“I turn to all who have responsibilities in this area, because the people have not been fooled. Others failed because they wanted to purposely, even when the street already showed the result that we lived (…) I learned that in politics we have to take consequences of our acts. And that the survey companies also take them,” added André Ventura.

« We do not yet know the result of the elections, the indications we have so far … But I think we can assure the country something that has not happened since April 25th. »

In the face of many applause in the room, André Ventura added, « The arrival has become the second largest party in these elections. »

« We really did what no party had never done in Portugal. Neither in the 1970s nor 90. Today we can say for sure that bipartisanship was over, » said the president of arrival, remembering that the party today has the number of deputies that « never » another, except PS and PSD, had.

André Ventura also made a point of pointing his finger at the opponents.

Reinforcement of the Parliamentary Group of the arrival -which rose from 50 to 58 deputies -still missing the votes of emigration -was achieved « despite everything they did against us, the lies (…), use the health of someone and their suffering, » he said.

The room applauded and shouted, « Ventura goes ahead, you have your people here. »

“The arrival is the future of the government!” He stressed Ventura.
