Arrested DP candidate Elda Hoti

Ladi Ndoja, the husband of DP candidate Elda Hoti, was arrested after an incident in Rrëshen.

Amarildo Jushi has been arrested along with him.

Crime Investigation Specialists at the Mirdita Police Commissariat have arrested the citizens: -ln, 45 years old, resident in Mirdita for the offenses of « Obstruction of Transfer Traffic », « Driving irregularly », « Self -Judgment » and « Threat or rape »

-Aj, 25 years old, resident in Mirdita, for the offenses of « Obstruction of the circulation of vehicles », « Self -judiciary » and « Threat or rape against election participants ».

Their arrest was made after 10:20 pm on 10:20 pm, these citizens with their two vehicles blocked the road driven by the RK citizen, 46 years old (driver) and AD (passenger), both residents in Rrëshen, claiming that these citizens were carrying out votes.

Police services, shortly after receiving the notice of blocking the road in the « Donaj » neighborhood of Rrëshen and the verbal conflict between these citizens, intervened, accompanying the parties to the police station and conducted investigative actions under the direction of the prosecution.

Following the actions performed, after the search conducted in their vehicles, specifically in the vehicles of the LN and AJ citizens, the police services found and seized in the quality of the material evidence of persons (suspected of voter lists), while in the vehicle of the RK citizen no illegal item was found.

Also, following the actions after conducting the alcohol test of the three drivers, it resulted that the LN citizen was driving intoxicated, while the two drivers of the other vehicles showed that they had not consumed alcohol.

Procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Lezha Jurisdiction for further action.
