Arrest a pre -punished man for attacking trolleybus driver / day

The State Police had received an application that on April 24, at about five in the afternoon in Riga, Route 25 in the trolleybus, there had been a conflict between a passenger and a trolleybus leader, which resulted in a trolleybus leader.

The detainee was born in 1987 and has been punished in advance.

The police have initiated criminal proceedings for bullying if it involves causing bodily harm to the victim. The law provides for up to five years’ imprisonment, probation supervision, public work, or fines.

Expertise results are currently being expected to determine the severity of bodily harm to the employee of « Rīgas satiksme ». Criminal proceedings may be retrained after receiving the results of the examination.

The detained man for the time of investigation is arrested.

The head of the trolleybus wrote earlier on social networks that the trolleybus in the direction of Brivibas Street had been standing in a traffic jam until passengers began to ask if they would be missed. Given that it was not safe and there was no stop manager for passengers.

The driver of the trolleybus has not been able to react because he immediately got a shot and the attacker started pushing the trolleybus buttons and « turned off the trolleybus ». In the end, the attacker escaped.
