Austria strokes billions of grants for climatic, PV systems and heating exchange. In order to achieve the climate goals, however, even more unpopular measures are likely to follow.
Minister of Finance in this republic is said to have already forgotten climate and environmental protection in their first budget speech. At least that is the current director of the department Markus Marterbauer (SPÖ) Do not chalk up. « Climate protection is indispensable, it costs and needs financing, » he said. But: « What we can no longer afford are too few targeted and excessive grants. »

By 2030, not even every third euro for the climate and the environment will be left. But which funding disappears? And is climate protection in Austria at the end?
