Applications for subsidies, 70,000 farmers request, 53,000 want to be supported with oil

Approximately 70,000 farmers have applied to the call of the National Scheme 2025, with the majority of them being subsidized for free oil.
75.7% of Albanian farmers, in order to reduce production costs, require the land to work with tax -free oil.
Ardita Kuçi, Director General of the ARDA says: « The measure with more applications, as last year, is the measure of oil support for mechanism in agriculture, which counts about 53,000 applications. This shows that farmers consider the support and facilitation of the costs of agricultural products as an indispensable support for productivity. »

For the first time, the Ministry of Agriculture in the livestock sector will also make money for calves. This innovation in the national scheme has also increased the number of farmers dealing with the breeding of living things.
« As far as livestock is concerned, there was an increased interest, as the innovations this year have been support for calves, except for bovine. While last year we had 9,200 applications, this year we have 10.100 applications, » Kuçi adds
4.4 billion ALL is available to 70,000 farmers, and if this money is insufficient, the Ministry of Agriculture will increase the fund to support all farmers who have been declared winners. Now that the applications have been completed, agropics inspectors will go out on the ground to make the verifications.

« Within 20 days will be published on the ARDA website the list of beneficiaries. From this list, all farmers who lack documentation have a 30-day deadline to complete the documents they will submit to Agropika. »

This year, another category of farmers that will be supported are those who, instead of inputs, use biological control. This call also comes as a directive from the EU, as the use of useful insects enhances the quality of the product and the price of Albanian production.
