–Crin Antonescu: There are mere opinions of a man who at the end of this election campaign no longer does politics, is no longer a member of any party … Look what happened for a few days, no week after choosing a new president in the person of Mr. Nicușor Dan.

During the election campaign I was the only candidate I said … that the future president will have to work with a parliamentary majority. Everyone else has promised a total change, disappearance or in any case the removal from power of the old parties that have governed so far.

If from the point of view of Simion and Gold there is some justification, in the sense that they said they would build another majority, regarding Mr. Nicușor Dan, this was simply a lie. Because today we are witnessing a public offensive on the PSD, which as terrible as it was described, it must still enter the government.

I also notice and reach the second topic, the press, at least from the televisions I know, with one exception, of you, all arrived in unison, a kind of re-education process is organized under the leadership of the USR Commissaries: USR who did not win any elections, because Mr. He says who leads them, when he has to come to government, when he has to leave the government, and so on.

So it is an effort to intimidate and attract these parties that form the government majority, in a unison, which from my point of view is forced.

As for the opposition, gold and the others, there is a whole process of demonization.

Already, if you notice, it is a real hunt, who and why he voted with Simion.

Mr. Ponta, in the position of founder, says that Grindeanu voted on Simion in the second round. And if he voted with Simion what, I am not interested, but we are witnessing some abnormal things, namely the intention to intimidate the opposition, and parties that are brought to governance, all under a chorus of the press that does not sound good to me, because it is not normal in a democratic and European landscape.

-Who is behind Nicușor Dan?

-He ran for an independent and in a message I saw, I think today, Mr. Nicușor Dan says it will not be easy. Okay, but it will not be easy because we have to change what has been done for 35 years. This is very interesting.

I repeat, if Simion said this matter, I could not agree. But to come Nicușor Dan, who has people with him who, starting with his reign, have had very important positions in the last 35 years.

Basescu has been president twice, Nicușor Dan was mayor of the capital for five years, Ilie Bolojan was a leader in the local administration over 20 years.

Those in the PSD, which I invite extremely insistently to government, are people who governed during this period. UDMR has always ruled. I do not understand what in the last 35 years must change Mr. Nicușor, it seems to me a demagogic message and unsupported by the political reality.

Once again I say: If we want to be rational, we have to discuss what has been won and is well won in these 35 years and what needs to be changed. This demagogic formulation, I am an anti-system candidate, but behind me are Basescu, Coldea, Maior, the group from Cluj, the classic parties. Beyond that, I think these things cannot last endlessly.

–In the last post, you wrote about a security-propagandistic network …

-After you see, we are already from the point of view of propaganda, propaganda that worked, in the end it is normal, this is the election campaign, the propaganda networks are beaten. Notice that we are now like a world’s beginning. Everything has been bad so far, but we need the parties that have governed so far, to have a parliamentary majority, everything has not been done well. We have a tone of this, which was in 2004 and in 2014, that, finally, democracy has won in Romania and from now on the dawn of a new era. It is an almost communist rhetoric, with a changed sense, which I no longer believe. This is the propaganda-securistic network, this is the power formula that has also internal support and external support, which we can see from televisions, newspapers, sites, how to campaign in the second round, in the sense of complete demonization of one of the candidates, a candidate that I did not support, but I did subject to a demonization regime that I have never seen.

All these things, for me, are the expression of a system I knew and say it has a greater power because it managed to be legitimized by a passive popular vote in the second round, as it was under conditions that were not elucidated. In this reason, it will now be very powerful …

– You talked about external factors that influenced the country. Who do you refer to more exactly?

-Of course, a country like Romania is always influenced by external factors. It is not such a big and strong country that it is not influenced. But I talk about the fact that even in this campaign, in sight, I know only things in sight, there was a support, a partisancan that, in the end, is usually in favor of a certain candidate. As for me, I do not say this with any anger.

– You talked about the demonization of George Simion …

-The champion certainly has been largely based on this fear, cultivated from the National Bank and to the various clubs of businessmen on the fact that the country’s economy will collapse if George Simion will be elected. But I’m talking about something else here.

Of course, George Simion did and said many things that, from many points of view, I do not agree. But I am talking about the fact that now, after the elections are over, there is talk of 5 million people who voted for him as semi-frying. The first mission of the new president and those around him is a proximity, a restoration of our unity as a nation, you cannot consider that over 5 million people who have had a certain choice, are dangerous elements.
