Biologist Mats Grape suggests in a submitter that a natural police should be set up to save our forests. But the fact is that we exclude about 30 percent of the forest land from active forestry, according to the environmental target committee. There are most of our old forests in a continuity forestry. Researchers ‘and environmental organizations’ claim that we are in the process of cutting down our last old forests is a conscious attempt to mislead the general public and politicians.

But we could have had even more old forest, especially in southern Sweden, unless the state had forced the individual forest owners to cut off the old peasant forest during the 70s, 80s and 90s through the Swedish Forest Agency. The bourgeois government was stopped on forced harvesting, extinction and cutting of the deciduous forest through the liberalization of the Forest Conservation Act in 1994. But the Riksdag has not succeeded in stopping the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the County Administrative Board’s incompetent and irresponsible game management, despite decisions in Parliament 1994, 2007, 2010 and 2020.

The authorities refuse to reduce the moose strain to acceptable level, despite the fact that previously common tree species such as sales, rowan, aspen and oak are about to disappear as public forest trees. The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency thinks that the entertainment hunters’ Sunday hunting is more important than diversity.

The authority can Conduct because there is no responsibility for officials and the opportunity to demand political responsibility from the authorities. The authorities are wide open for corruption. The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the county administrative boards claim that they have no responsibility for the derailed game management. They refer to the moose management areas. But they are not authorities and cannot make decisions with legal effect.

The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency has put corruption in systems within its central administrative area by incorrectly delegating the management to organizations where no responsibility can be claimed. Consequently, as much forest can be destroyed by downwitches and rejuvenation of the forest with pine and deciduous trees.

We need a bureaucracy police to save the forest.
