ANM warnings. Torrential rains and wind in almost half country
The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Saturday, new yellow code warnings and orange code for significant precipitation, wind intensifications, valid in almost half of the country, until Sunday at noon.
According to the specialized forecast, between May 24, 12:00 – May 25, at 12:00, there will be a yellow code of atmospheric instability in most of Muntenia, Moldova and Dobrogea, as well as in the Carpathians and the east of the Southern Carpathians, where there will be periods with accentuated atmospheric instability, which will manifest themselves, which will manifest them. The wind, the vigils (bursts of 40-60 km/h) and at times hail. The quantities of water will be in short intervals of 15-25 l/sqm and especially by accumulation, on restricted areas, 30-40 l/sqm.
The yellow code will affect the following counties: Botoșani, Suceava, Iași, Neamț, Buzău, Braila, Tulcea, Ialomița, Constanța, Călărași, Giurgiu, Teleorman, Dâmbovița, Prahova, Ilfov, Bucharest and Partial Covasna and Brașov.
According to meteorologists, between May 24, 3:00-25, May 25, 10:00, will be an orange code for atmospheric instability in Vrancea, Galați, Vaslui and Bacău, where there will be torrential showers, frequent electric discharges, wind intensifications, vijeals (rabbits of 50-70 km/h). In short intervals (1-3 hours) or by accumulation the quantities of water will be 30-40 l/sqm and isolated over 50 l/sqm.
