Animals heal the Olympic bronze medal t -shirt
In the lives of athletes, a new era begins after the end of the active career, and from there they have to stand in civilian life, and the transition is not always easy. This did not cause Gabriella, as she was still in the middle of her water polo career at the University of Veterinary Science, where she was enrolled in the fourth attempt.
– I was determined to be a veterinarian when I was a high school student, but I was not admitted to college for a long time, so during my years in Dunaújváros I graduated from a college in communication. Then I escaped to Spain for three years, then I couldn't apply for university. Finally, in 2014, when I returned home, they took up and started my studies Says the beginning, Szücs, who has been a fan of animals since childhood, has practically grew up among them on Fejér County. The reconciliation of the university and the water polo has often made it a greater challenge than he thought.
– It was really difficult to go to workouts and matches at the same time, and to focus on learning, and it was impossible to do it without going to the expense of any of them. Unfortunately, the university was more likely to be damaged by double life, as a result of which I finally completed my five -year training in eight and a half years Said Gabriella, who received her diploma in February 2023, half a year before the end of her sports career.
It was extra motivated by the fact that many Olympic and world champion athletes also have veterinary qualifications. Among them are the legends of water polo, the federal captain, Dénes Kemény Kemény and the women's team world and European champion, Tamás Faragó, a world and European champion with the women's national team three times to the Olympic Championship title. Before the marble plaque that captured their names, Szücs walked over to the university countless times.
– I work with several of my colleagues at a downtown animal clinic, here I worship my passion, to heal and save animals He explained.
He loves all animals equally, so he has no pronounced pet, he does not belong to the « dogs » or « kittens » camp. Although he currently lives alone and would allow his opportunities, he does not have his own pet yet, but in Dunaújváros there are two dogs waiting for their mother to visit them as often as possible.
Gabriella Szücs, who runs the three Olympics, is clearly the most proud of the Olympic bronze medal in Tokyo in addition to the many championship titles and cups. Well, and with determination and hard work, he managed to make his dream come true in civilian life.
