In 2019, Soko Tierschutz, a German animal rights organization, started an undercover investigation at dairy farm Endres in Bavaria. According to the organization, it appeared that there were heavy animal abuse in the fields of the company. The German court took over the case, but it has not come to a lawsuit so far. This month, Soko Tierschutz announced that since her operation nothing has changed in the practices on the farm.

Animal rights organization Animal Rights discovered that the Walloon dairy producer Vache Bleue collaborated with Endres. The organization asked Vache Bleue for an explanation and demanded that the company would stop the collaboration, but says he never received a response. « However, it says on the company's website that the milk comes from cows that are pampered enormously because the farmers have to comply with strict animal welfare rules, » says spokesperson Els Van Campenhout of Animal Rights. « But they just worked with a well -known animal abuse. »

It is unclear when Vache Bleue started the collaboration with Endres and whether the company was aware of the practices with his German supplier. In any case, Animal Rights files a complaint against the dairy producer at the FPS Economy for misleading consumers. « It cannot be that they knew nothing, » says Van Campenhout.

Vache Bleue was not available for comment, but announced to VTM that it is « particularly shocked » and stops the purchase of milk at the « with immediate entrance » farm.
