Androulakis: The ND government’s narrative of « calm waters » is a fairy tale for a few
In Trikala, Nikos Androulakis, President of the PASOK Change Movement, toured the morning of Sunday, May 5th.
In his statements to the media, Mr Androulakis referred to what Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said yesterday from the occupied territories.
« Yesterday’s Erdogan statements from the occupied territories are provocative and unacceptable. They prove that Turkey does not respect the UN resolutions for a fair solution to the Cyprus problem. So the New Democracy government’s narrative of « calm waters » is a fairy tale. But a fairy tale for a few. We see what’s going on off Kassos. I have said many times that the prime minister must inform the Greek people of the exact timetable for the implementation of the Cyprus-Crete electric interconnection project, « he said, stressing the respect of our sovereign rights.
In addition, Mr Androulakis called on the government to take initiatives to prevent Turkey’s role in playing a role in Europe’s new architectural defense.
« The European taxpayer cannot pay billions and Turkey participate in weapons co -productions when Casus Belli is against Greece and Attila’s illegal invasion of Cyprus, » he said.
Regarding the Presidential Decree 194/2025, which, as PASOK President -KINAL said, depreciates the property of thousands of small owners, Mr. Androulakis emphasized that « I heard the Minister, Mr. Papastavrou, to be bothered by my statements by my statements by Greece. Did he annoy him because the statement was made by Zagora? Better to realize that this injustice must be corrected immediately, because thousands of Greek citizens are upset. This government for residents of large urban centers cannot reserve a 50% increase in rents, obstacles and difficulties in their lives, and for residents of the settlements of less than 2,000 inhabitants depreciate their property and where they were sleeping with plots, suddenly in the morning.

« No prosperity for society and resilience to the economy, without regional growth »
Finally, the opposition leader stood at the PASOK -KINAL regional conferences throughout Greece.
« A country like Greece, with island, mountainliness, particular geography, cannot achieve prosperity for society and resilience to the economy, without regional growth. We, therefore, propose solutions for the primary sector, for processing, for the need for a powerful social state of public health and public education throughout the country, even in the most remote areas. Because otherwise we will not face the huge national danger of demographic, « he concluded.
