Androulakis: PASOK Initiative not to pay « hat » for products consumers
The PASOK – Change Movement’s initiative to present a cohesive framework for institutional interventions to « enter the market and multinational rules » was announced by Nikos Androulakis, As part of his speech at the International Conference of the Economic Chamber of Greece entitled « The World in a New Synthesis », at the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center.
As Mr Androulakis had stated in and, the interventions were based on three axes. The first will concern the intra -group transactions of the – Greek and Greek – multinationals. The latter will concern the restructuring, reinforcement and extension of the Competition Committee responsibilities and the third one to establish a single consumer authority to the standards of other European countries, so that the consumer movement can gain greater power.
« With these interventions they will enter the market rules and multinationals. Only in this way will the Greek people not pay with a hat the same product that other Europeans – with higher salaries – buy it cheaper, « Mr Androulakis said.
He added, « Today’s world is transformed rapidly and the bet is whether this transition will be based on the values of cooperation, justice and peace or whether we will again be delivered to power and competition that led humanity to judgments and backs. »
He also noted that « for our country and for the progressive world, there is no other way to pull forward. With a strong and autonomous Europe. With a Europe of peoples, democracy, the rule of law. The choice is historic and it is in our hands. «
The PASOK -KINAL president stressed that Greece must upgrade any factor in national power, such as demographic, social state, defense, economy, confidence in institutions in long -term plan and determination.

« In the crucial sector of defense production, we have a duty to use the historical context. We have to stop being just consumers of defense equipment with the money of the Greek people and to turn the faster possible to producers and co -producers, giving a strong impetus to the domestic defense industry, « PASOK -KINAL President said in the field of politics.
The opposition leader argued that the OECD degraded the government’s narrative to reduce tax burdens, while also explaining the negative way in which the surplus succeeded. He stood in particular the enormous cost of living, which « requires strong political will and brave institutional interventions, to enter – finally – a class in the cartel’s nonsense ».
« As a tomorrow’s government we have pledged to implement an ambitious and realistic housing policy program for young people to access cheap and quality home. The cost of living in Greece is increasing rapidly for one more reason: the nonsense of multinationals. If we want to see a real reduction in product prices, the most effective solution is to compare the sale price of the same product to different subsidiaries, in different countries. It is possible to be done at the European Union level, « Mr. Androulakis underlined.
Referring to global economic turmoil, he noted uncertainty that dominates international economic relations as well as the management of the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East, as well as the US interior: President Donald Trump’s relations with Congress, Congress, Congress Economy.
The PASOK-KINAL president has spoken of economic impasses that are turning into the impasses of our political systems, but also vice versa, and stressed that « for that, it is needed: it is needed:

Mr Androulakis argued that the trade war between the United States and China is not just an economic dispute but a geopolitical confrontation. In particular, he described the duties imposed by the US president « a manifestation of political embarrassment in front of the chronic imbalances inside the larger economies ».
He added that « solutions must be found in internal redistribution, not in the international conflict, and this is also the major political stakes of our time, for which the progressive forces are worth fighting and therefore there is a need for more cooperation and mutual understanding.
Specifically for Europe, the opposition leader cited Draghi’s findings and proposals, while pointing out that « today’s challenges, if used in the appropriate way by leaders, may act as a call for a wake up for coordinated action, and not only with their coordinated action. »
