The controversial Andrew Tate was caught on Saturday at the wheel of a car running at a speed of 196 km/h, in an area with a limit of 50 km/h. He was caught on DN 7, in Argeş county by the police, being fined and suspended the right to drive.
« On the morning of June 7, 2025, the police officers of the Road Service, while carrying out road traffic surveillance activities, to prevent accidents caused by excessive speed, found a vehicle that was running at a speed of 196 km/h on DN7, in the area of Bujoreni, » IPJ Vâlcea announced on Saturday.
The vehicle was recorded by the radar device, traveling by 146 km/h above the legal limit allowed on that road sector.
« At the wheel was a 38 -year foreign citizen, with his domicile in the municipality of Brasov. For the deviation found, he was sanctioned with a fine of 1,822 lei, according to the provisions of GEO no. 195/2002 regarding the traffic on public roads, » the Police said.
At the same time, the driving license was detained for a period of 120 days.
The man at the wheel is Andrew Tate, judicial sources said.
