Andonovski: The number of transactions on the National Interoperability Platform increased by 20 %
Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski was a guest on the program of Macedonian Radio – Radio Skopje, in his appearance, among other things, he also spoke about the Interoperability Platform, which he said increased an increase in transactions.
-In the first months of 2025, the number of transactions on the National Interoperability Platform increased to 20% in March, compared to the average transactions since last 2024. In 2024, 8.5 million transactions were made on the national platform, with more than 50 institutions and a dozen private companies connecting. In March this year, the figure reached nearly 900,000 transactions, which is 20% higher than the average by 2024. In January and February, the number of transactions increased by about 10% – said Andonovski.
The importance of the Interoperability Platform is reflected in the fact that it enables mutual data exchange and exchange between state authorities, institutions and business companies. The data and documents between institutions are shared in a standardized, secure and unified manner.
-The unbeaten flow of information through the Interoperability Platform reduces the time needed to transfer information between institutions, facilitating the flow of electronic information needed to provide public services tailored to the needs of citizens and businesses. Such data exchange increases operating efficiency and increases the satisfaction of the services offered – Andonovski added
The Minister of Digital Transformation noted and that the most active institutions on the platform are the Customs Administration, the National Bank, the Ministry of Interior, and the services of the National Portal for Electronic Services – USLUGI.GOV.mk. And that the more active entities are the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption and the Employment Agency.
It is important to note that the utilization of data from the National Interoperability Platform, when allowed by law, is also free for the private sector.
