Carmen Vasilescu, the young woman who decided to live as many do not dare to dream, launches their autobiographical volume « and if it is true that it cannot be? Between body and soul », at Bookfest Bucharest.

Carmen is a young woman with disabilities who has managed to go beyond her limits and not be defeated by a destiny that certainly seems difficult to accept. He works as a journalist and PR in the musical field. Life, Carmen has lived a lot of unique experiences and believes that her mission is to trust people that life is the most precious gift.

After writing for two and a half years about experiences and feelings only known to her, she wanted her manuscript to fit in the hands of professionals, so she dared to send an e-mail to the Humanitas Publishing House, expressing her desire to collaborate with them. Carmen Vasilescu thus takes another step towards a life full of fulfilled dreams: the story of her life, « And if it is true that it doesn’t exist? Between body and soul”, Published in Humanitas, will be launched at the International Bookfest 2025 Book Fair. A book full of emotion and a sincerity rarely encountered.

Carmen Vasilescu was born on April 12, 1989, in Craiova. Although she is diagnosed with spastic tetraparesis, she considered that she was able to live a normal life, so she followed her intuition. After completing his studies, he started working as a journalist and PR, especially in the musical field, organized awareness for people with disabilities and was involved in Community theater projects. Life, Carmen has lived a lot of unique experiences. After a leap in tandem with the parachute, he continued with diving, paragliding and ski flights. She is delighted to travel and discover traditions and cultures from different corners of the world. Carmen does not want to be an example to follow. She believes that her mission is to trust people that life is the most precious, but also that anyone can live it at maximum intensity, with support and especially with the right attitude.
