Ana Andronic -Buzu and Catalin Gospodin -Gospo at Mobu 2025

The artists Ana Andronic -Buzu and Catalin Gospodin -Gospo present their works at Mobu 2025.

Buzu presents the series of works entitled « Something shines in those hidden layers, » Works with architectural and artistic influences from currents such as Bauhaus and brutalism.

“This project brings together a series of works inspired by Carl Jung’s red book, exploring the dream universe through architectural and artistic influences from currents such as Bauhaus and brutalism.

The elements inserted in compositions are symbols extracted from psychological tests, symbols that reflect various mental and emotional states.

These works build a mystical alphabet of the dream, where the symbols become bridges between the viewer’s experiences and the interior perspective of the artist. ”

Househ presents the series of works « Print Screen », Works that represent the phenomena around us that are glitches, updates or corruptions of a system that we cannot control.

» We live in a world where reality and artificial are intertwined, but also where pollution does not only affect the physical environment, but also the digital one. In my works, I explore the idea of a fragile reality, as a simulation that erodes under the influence of an ubiquitous pollution. The phenomena around us are glucks, updates or corruptions of a system that we cannot control. ”

Soning becomes the last refuge in a distorted landscape, a place where the borders between natural and virtual dissolve, and advanced technology amplifies degradation instead of repairing it. Visually, I combine dirty textures, overlapping layers and strong contrasts, creating images that seem affected by their own entropy.  »

The latest works of the two artists are addressing the public directly, inviting him to discover, in front of the works, the modernity of the drawings centered on the reality of these artists.

Mobu is the largest fair of contemporary art in Central and Eastern Europe. The event takes place between May 28 and June 1 in the Central Pavilion Romexpo.

Mobu means over 200 artists from 9 countries, 54 exhibition stands, art galleries, independent artists, art faculties, special projects and a curatorial selection that brings various expressions – from painting, sculpture, installations and performances, to video art and design.

🎤 In parallel, Mobu becomes a scene of interdisciplinary dialogue: conferences, round tables, workshops and performances on key themes about art, society, technology and ethics.
📚 The event takes place in the immediate vicinity of the Bookfest Book Fair – a rare opportunity to explore, in the same place, two cultural worlds.
