The Celje Professional Fire Brigade was informed about the stain at the Savinja River in Medlog in Celje in the middle of the day. “We immediately exported to the site of the location, and we also had an ecological vehicle for these types of accidents. It has been found that a contaminated suspension was flowing from the meteoric drain. We made the first measures, curbed the expansion into the environment, into the Savinja River, and then informed all other competent services, « said the director of the commander Boris Žnidarko.
He added that the jobs were still exploring where the pollution came from, what is the cause of the pollution and the service that would determine whether any danger is. For now, they found that the fluid was water -soluble, said Žnidarko: “We also found whether it was a corrosive or basic substance, it was shown to be neutral. Everything else will be done by a laboratory that will give further guidance on what to do with this contaminated liquid. «
