An external threat to the electoral system / day was found on Wednesday night

Vaivars emphasized that at the moment, in order to vote for people, municipal election commissions have the right to decide on voting in registration envelopes.

Information available to LETA indicates that the electronic online voter register has not worked, which temporarily suspended the polling stations. At around 5:30 pm, the registry has restored and, after a while, the electoral process went by the usual voting order.

As LETA informed JSC « RIX Technologies », which provides an electronic online voter register, the company should not disclose any information under the terms of the Contract Privacy.

The agencies have noticed that several polling stations in Riga had a queue.

Today, it is possible to vote from 5 pm to 8 pm in the previous vote. As with the election day, it is possible to vote in any municipal district during the previous vote.

As reported, on the first day of the previous ballment, the electoral commissions were difficult to submit to the activity data due to the electoral system.

Information technology security incident prevention institution « Cert.lv » stated that the disorder experienced on Monday was not related to any intervention. Cyber ​​security incidents were not found to the electoral system.

In the two previous voting days, 3.51% of voters voted in the Latvian municipal elections.
