An ambulance accident in Legnica. Overturned ambulance, three injured people
A dramatic accident occurred on Tuesday, June 10 at the intersection of the Streets of Rzeczpospolita, Moniuszko, Piłsudskiego and soldiers of the Second Army of the Polish Army. An ambulance, which transported the patient in a serious condition to the hospital, moved with the light and sound signals turned on. When she entered the intersection, Volkswagen came from the side street. At 20.44 There was a powerful collision.
An ambulance accident in Legnica. Rescue operation
The ambulance rolled over and stopped only after a few meters, partly on the pavement. Inside there were two rescuers and a patient whose condition was serious before the accident. One of the rescuers gave the woman to help inside the vehicle until the last moments.
Additional rescue teams, fire brigade and police arrived immediately. All participants of the event were taken to hospital. According to the police, the life of lifeguards is not in danger. The patient’s condition is very severe – the woman was unconscious.

Both Volkswagen driver and rescuers were sober. The circumstances of the accident are examined by a police investigation conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor.
