BRATISLAVA. In the hospital of st. Cyril and Methodius at Antolska in Petržalka, Bratislava, threatened to the patient on Thursday morning by killing and undercuting the sword in his hand.
The aggressor was detained by the police. The event was done without injuries.
The University Hospital Bratislava informed about it on the social network.
« The staff in this escalated and dangerous situation kept their heads, immediately called the police and the security security service of the University Hospital Bratislava, » the hospital said.
As she said, one of the doctors managed to lead the attacker outside the department where the staff and patients were located.
« The aggressive man has left the building and hospital premises, then he was detained by the police.
Hospital director Alexander Mayer noted that verbal attacks and threats from relatives of patients are constantly increasing.
« I ask relatives of patients not to attack our doctors, nurses or nurses, because their work is extremely demanding and I am convinced of each of them that they do everything they can to save your relatives or cure it, » Mayer said.
At the same time, he thanked the healthcare professionals for their dedication and courageous approach to face difficult situations when they are in danger of their own life.
