American aircraft carrier, sent urgently in the Middle East

The American aircraft carrier Nimitz, on a mission in the East China Sea, has changed its course in the direction of the Middle East, while over 30 flight refueling aircraft were moved from US bases to Europe, according to websites for maritime and air traffic, movements made in the context of escalating Iran.

The Nimitz aircraft carrier sailed Monday afternoon in the Malacca Strait, between the Indonesian island Sumatra and Malaysia. The US Embassy in Vietnam communicated to the authorities of this country that a reception scheduled for Friday on this aircraft carrier in a Vietnamese port was canceled as a result of ‘an urgent operational need’. On board the Nimitz aircraft carrier are about 60 fighter jets.

During this time, the United States moved from US to Europe a large number of aircraft used to refuel fighter aircraft, confirmed on Monday for Reuters American officials who requested anonymity. Confirmation comes after the Airnav website recorded 31 KC-135S and KC-45S refueling aircraft flying from the US to Europe.

Israel, the US ally, launched a massive air bombing campaign on Friday, in which it hit hundreds of military and nuclear targets on the Iranian territory, following the neutralization of the Iran nuclear program and the diminution of the military potential of this country, which responded with rocket salve launched on Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu estimated on Monday that Israel is about to achieve his two main objectives of this military campaign, namely ‘elimination of nuclear threat and eliminate the threat represented by missiles’, according to Israel already destroyed about 120 launchers of Iranian missiles, the equivalent of about one number of this number the Iranian army has.

Israeli bombardments have also hit Iran’s nuclear capacities, such as the surface infrastructure of the Uranium enrichment plant from Natanz. However, Israel could not hit its underground infrastructure, according to the International Agency for Atomic Energy (AIEA). Another key component of the Iranian nuclear program, the Forto plant, is even better protected, being placed hundreds of meters below a mountain. To try to hit underground installations, Israel needs penetrating bombs, which only US can provide
