For a woman who loves amber, the idea of trying to create amber -like eggs came from a quarantine period when we were all closed at home and had a lot of free time.
« Like many, I spent that time in nature. While walking on the seashore and looking for amber, I thought how interesting it would be for Easter to create something that would be at least a little like amber.
A lot of time had to be spent on experiments. He downloaded various tools that he did not find in Lithuania, watched many videos, tried and tried until he finally succeeded. The result is stunning! « Whoever sees, thinks this is Gintaras, » says G. Jazdauskienė.

It takes time and patience
According to the interlocutor, the process of making a « amber » egg is quite long, lasts up to a week.
« It is important that the materials are well dried, » says Goda. « I use a gel paste that I mix with acrylic varnish, a little primer and paint powder. After mixing the mixture, you should watch the mass is quite viscous, Sticks – paint and ink, using sponges, try to get amber colors. «
True, although the works look very similar, it is impossible to get the same result – they are all a bit different.

G. Jazdauskienė is still creating ornamental « amber » hearts, decoupling, sticking with polymeric clay, becoming watercolor.
« For a decade, I worked for administering websites, a bit at the EU projects, but I realized that it wasn’t for me. After that job I was still looking for where to pour my heart. Now I give my heart to my creative activity, » says the interviewer. » What you love is easy. ”
