Already 30 degrees Celsius
A meteorological summer begins today. After a long period of relatively fresh weather, it has warmed up in recent days, but today it could be aimed at 30 degrees Celsius for the first time this year. Sunday will be the warmest day of this end of the week, the coming days will be a little lower, said the meteorologist at the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia Andrej Velkavrh.
It will be sunny today, in the afternoon there will be some moderate cloudiness in the north. There is no short -term showers along the northern border, they say at Ars. It will blow the south to southwest wind. The highest daily temperatures will be from 27 to 31 degrees Celsius. It will also be mostly sunny tomorrow, and in the afternoon and evening there will be a storm in the north. The southwest wind will blow. Morning temperatures will be from 12 to 17, the highest daily from 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.
The weather is thus fully coincided with the performance of meteorological summer. The coming days will be slightly lower than today, but towards the end of next week, the temperatures could rise again, probably by a degree more than today, Velkavrh said.
It is also very warm this weekend in the hills, and with the high UV index in the middle of the day, the competent people warn everyone to protect the skin with clothing and sunscreen, use sunglasses and headgear and ensure sufficient hydration.
The meteorological summer lasts from the beginning of June to the end of August, and the calendar summer will begin with the Summer Solstice 21, June and this year, ending 22 in the evening, when the calendar autumn will begin.
According to the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovenia has been the warmest last year in the last 75 years, but also above average soaked and modest with snow. Last year, it also served with the warmest day in the history of measurements. It was 22. July, when the global average temperature was 17.6 degrees Celsius.
