Almost 50 appeals from children reported on attempts have been recorded in Ukraine recruitment From the Russians.

« We are currently seeing a steady dynamics to increase the number of appeals from children about recruitment. Today, nearly 50 children have been addressed to the National Police bodies, who report to them through messengers and social networks, unknown persons from fictional accounts that agitated by the military and bodies infrastructure, as well as gathering of various information, for which they promised financial reward « – Bogdan said.

According to him, the Unit of the Juvenile Prevention of the National Police, together with the SBU, sells an information campaign throughout Ukraine. During visits to schools, lectures, conversations and open lessons for teenagers are conducted to increase their legal awareness.

Law enforcement officers also work with parents and educators – explaining how to recognize the signs of recruitment, how to talk to children and how to act in case of threat.

Initially, children may be offered easy tasks such as collecting information about the location of military objects or gluing leaflets that discredit the Armed Forces or have elements of propaganda of the Russian Federation, and then they can already offer more difficult tasks.
