Allies in Daugavpils implement air paratroopers operations / day
Brigade Bripac, which is subject to the San Marcial division, is a highly trained unit that is able to participate in various types of operations – including international missions, air paratroopers with parachuting, parachuting from high height, on earth and peace maintenance. The unit maintains a close connection with the Spanish Legion Military Traditions, and its soldiers carry the title of honor, « The Legion’s Parachutist Knight » or « Lady » as a certificate of identity and belonging.
This is the second of the five simultaneous air paratroop operations, which are carried out within the framework of a large -scale International Training « Swift Response 2025 ». In the coming days, paratrooping is planned at the Adazi Military Landfill by the United States Army 173. The aim of the training is to demonstrate the US ability to promptly deploy troops in Europe and the Arctic, working closely with strategic allies.
« The Swift Response 2025 teaching shows what we are actually able to, » says Colonel Joshua Gaspard, commander of the Air Desant Brigade in the US. « These teachings are about practical cooperation with the Allies to support NATO. They prove that we are able to respond quickly, unitedly and strongly if our forces are needed somewhere. Thanks to this learning event, we will be much better prepared. Most importantly, we will become stronger together. »
The Swift Response 2025 training is held in Latvia at the same time as the National Training « Crystal Arrow » and is part of the extensive NATO Defender 2025, with approximately 25,000 soldiers from more than 18 countries. Their aims to strengthen the compatibility of Allied units, improve management capacity and train multi -mmity operations.
From May 11 to May 31, the training in Latvia confirms the presence of NATO in the region and the ability of allies to carry out synchronized air and land operations. These are carried out by personnel and equipment paratroops, as well as combat shooting exercises involved in the US, Spanish and German armed forces units. The training demonstrates the readiness of the Allied forces to respond quickly and effectively to crises in the Baltics and the far north, protecting peace and security in Europe.
