All around 3,000 partygoers who were present at the illegal Raveparty on a former military base in Sugny in the municipality of Vresse-sur-Semois (Province of Namur), left the site around 4 pm on Sunday. That has been learned from Mayor Arnaud Allard. However, the authorities do not intend to leave it at this.

« The partygoers gradually left the site on Sunday, as agreed with the police on Friday evening, » says the mayor. « Various vehicles that contain material used during the party were seized at the exit of the site at the order of the attorney. Checks in the area have also led to several retracted driving licenses, among other things due to alcohol and drug use. »

A few ambulances people « in bad condition » came to the rescue, but there were no major incidents, says Allard.

« The investigation will now start. The number plates of the parked vehicles along the roads are noted and fines will be issued. We are also considering prosecuting the organizers. In addition, the location will be further protected. »

The illegal event was named ‘Teknival’ and not only lured Ravers from all over the country, but also from France, the Netherlands and even Spain. The NATO site where the rave took place has been breakfast for several years.

According to Mayor Allard, De Fuif caused a lot of nuisance.
