He had beautiful, big blue eyes and a charming smile. This smile disarmed everyone who Wojtuś looked at. All of Poland followed his fight against the disease. Everyone supported him so much, believed that the boy would recover.

His world fell on May 16, 2024. It was then that the boy’s parents heard a terrible diagnosis: the brain tumor.
Our 6 -year -old son of Wojtuś is fighting a cruel opponent of a malignant brain tumor. On May 13, 2024, Wojtuś was hospitalized because of vomiting – we thought they were rotaviruses. Vomiting did not give way despite the drugs, the following tests showed nothing until May 16, when the head resonance was done. Conversation with the head physician, diagnosis – Brain tumor !!! Cry and scream! It is impossible to describe the words of what the parent feels at such a moment … Wojtuś was immediately transported by an ambulance on signals to the Upper Silesian Children’s Health Center in Katowice to the neurosurgery department, where he was in the intensive medical supervision room until the day of surgery. His condition was very severe

Wojtuś underwent surgery, the tumor was cut out. He was undergoing chemotherapy and exposure. His parents were looking for alternative treatment methods for him, also abroad.

At the beginning of this year, the boy’s mother appealed to Internet users for a surprise for her son’s 7th birthday. She asked for greeting cards. She knew that this would be happy to enjoy her dying child. What happened exceeded her wildest expectations. On February 15, Wojtusia’s mother showed a sea of cards that were sent to Wojtus. Wishes and colorful balloons filled his whole room.

The funeral of the 7-year-old will take place on Thursday, March 27. The celebrations will start at 14 in the chapel of St. Tomasz in Będzin. Wojtusia’s mother asked the mourners a moving request. She appealed that everyone who wanted to say goodbye to the boy would come to a funeral with a white balloon, filled with helium.
