All Danes know Mitid – but this detail is the fewest aware of

« What we can see from the study, among other things, is that the Danes have taken the public apps to a greater extent than in both Sweden and the Netherlands.

Public apps like daily tools

96 percent of Danes have MitID installed on their phone, making the partially publicly owned app for the most installed app in Denmark.

The same pattern applies when you look at the entire category of public apps.

The Danes have largely embraced the public apps, such as MitID, the Health Card, the Driver’s License and Digital Post.

In fact, public apps are more widespread than social media, news and entertainment apps.

The public apps are increasingly replacing physical cards and documents, such as the health card that most of us rarely use.

Other apps, with MitID as a good example, have become a regular part of everyday life.

Among other things, the veil is lifted that up to 42 percent of Danes open MitID on a daily basis, while 11 percent use the app several times a day.
