One of the longest -running and most influential domestic music authors and performers, Alka Vuicathis year celebrates 40 years of rich career, and the great anniversary will mark the 8th June with a concert at Zagreb’s Salata. It is a unique musical spectacle where many friends and legends of the local scene will join her on stage.

– Alka, as you know, is our longtime member, one of the few women. She is a doyen and an avant -garde who has been hired for 40 years as an author and performer. – Alka and I have known each other since the 1990s, we met in our lives here and there. For three years, this idea of an Alka and friends concert has been screwed, Coronas and other conditions screwed up. Now we have decided on this project, the production will be at the highest level with the orchestra. We have 12 band members, and there will be from 17 to 19 people all the time on stage. For her birthday, a new album, ‘Lover’, is made up of some singles she has already released, but some new songs.
Among the confirmed music guests of the concert are Josipa LisacWho,, Nina BadricWho,, SeverinaWho,, Boris NovkovicWho,, Mladen GrdovicWho,, Sandi CenovWho,, Neno BelanWho,, Taichi and Vlado Kalembermaking this concert into a real time machine over several decades of domestic musical history. Alka is the author of some of the most famous verses and tunes that have marked the life of many generations.
Her career began in the early 1980s when she brought freshness to her peculiar style, British language and charisma to the entertainment scene at the time.
