Alina Mungiu-Pippidi. No one will choose with anything
Alina Mungiu-Pippidi commented on the victory of Nicușor Dan, who says he is a decent candidate, even without defects, something rare in Romania, where the world is disappointed with the political class.
In an intervention for B1 TV, Mungiu-Pippidi also claimed that no one will choose with anything and that no one voted with Nicușor Dan to choose with something.
« It was an absolutely wonderful national solidarity. I was lucky that I had a decent candidate. Many people said that they did not vote for Nicușor Dan, but for Europe. Right! But it is no less true that I had a candidate who had no defects, which is very rare in Romania, where the world is disappointed with the political class.
I had an honest, reasonably competent candidate. As such, it was not so difficult for people to understand that they have to tighten that they have around whom to gather and see Nicușor Dan not as a charismatic leader, that he is not a lonely man, without party, without entourage, but he is a man who wants good, he is an honest man. The world understood this. «
