Alibej reveals details of the Bradashesh massacre

The testimony of justice associate Erion Alibej at today’s hearing in the Special Court for reviewing the « Golden Lead » file has highlighted many truths. Alibej talks about the events that preceded the Bradashesh assassination in 2019, where three people were killed, including a Turkish citizen and links between criminal groups. According to him, the conflict had begun earlier and claims to have been wanted by police after a gunfight with John Rusta, who claims to have shot him in the « May 5 » area in Tirana.

« I kept a gun in the car. When I was parallel, John Rusta at the wheel. I shot them, » he said. According to the Alibeites during this period he was sheltered in different areas, between Durres and a village between Elbasan and Peqin, where the brothers Aldo and Kevi Baho lived. Another key element is the mention of a Turkish citizen, who was with Endrit during his recent visit to Albania, and who was later killed in the assassination attempt in Bradashesh.

According to the testimony, when the assassination took place, Endrit had been traveling with a Range Rover with Romanian license plates, along with family and Turkish citizen. « I found Endritin warm, but no signs of life. So too, my uncle, it was dark. There is usually a police patrol, but it was not that night, » he said.
