Alert in the west of the country, after more children drank insecticide

SMURD mobile intensive care crew, multiple victims transport vehicle and two crews belonging to the Bistrița-Năsăud County Ambulance Service intervenes on Monday evening, in Posmuș, where five minors would have ingested liquid insecticide, according to the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU).

From the first information, the children are aware, have altered general states, vomiting.

It would also be two more minors, which have febrile symptoms.

According to the first information, everyone is from the same family.

'UPU SMURD has supplemented the medical staff from free shifts to support the request. The intervention is in dynamic, « said ISU Bistrița-Năsăud.

UPDATE The medical crews found at the place of the request five minors, between the ages of 3 and 9, hemodynamic and respiratory stables, possibly intoxicated, which were taken over for transport to UPU SMURD Bistrița.

The mother of children, aged 28, will be transported to the hospital.

Ioan Cifor, the mayor of Șieu commune, from which the village of Posmuș belongs, said that, from the first information, it seems that the minors would have drank water from a bucket in which they were cast insecticide.

On the spot are also present police officers, who are doing investigations to determine the exact circumstances in which this incident was produced.
