Aleksandar Gjorcevski, Vanja’s father, claims there is absolutely no involvement in the case
Aleksandar Gjorcevski said today at the Basic Criminal Court in Skopje that there is absolutely no involvement and that neither he knows nor can he see the defendants in the case of the killings of his daughter Vanja Gjorcevska and Veles from Pance Zezhovski.
At the beginning of Gjorcevski, asked by his defense lawyer, lawyer Vladimir Tufegljic, « whether he feels ready and agreed today to give a statement to court, » he « feels obliged, primarily for Vanja ».
-I am not sure how much I am ready, but I feel an obligation and I want to make a statement. At the beginning of the trial, I said that I would give for several main reasons, primarily because of Vanja, because during the investigation and here in the courtroom, notorious lies were made about her I wanted to tell her that Dad was the same man who last saw him in the weekend before December 4th. I decided to incite the emotions so that I can give this statement, gather strength, courage and because of all those who know me and suffer with me, but also because of all those who do not know me, to say my side of the truth, my story, that I have absolutely no involvement with these people. I noticed that they demonstrated anger and disappointment with the so -called. « King » – said Gjorcevski.
Gjorcevski said that « he thinks he has made a great contribution to the investigation » and that « if they were not caught, if they were not stopped, I did not notice that they had guilt and repentance and that they would have stopped planned actions. »

Asked if he knows the faces of the defendants, from the past, Gjorcevski said that « I neither know him, nor can I see the hearings, mostly I am closing, my eyes are closed, nor can I see them here. »
The indictment states that Ljupco Palevski, Bore Videvski, Velibor Manev, Vlatko Kesishov and Aleksandar Gjorcevski, together planned the abduction of 14-year-old Vanja in order to force a member of her immediate family to give money for ransom. The abduction of the damaged Pance Zezhovski in Veles, on the indictment, was intended to force him to give their own « Citroen » vehicle to use the child to abduct the child in Skopje.
Juvenile Vanja and Pance Veles were reported missing on November 27 and 24, and on December 3, 2023, dead were found near Skopje and Veles.
